This menu has fairly low fat because of steamed processing. The fat in chicken is also removed, so that your stomach ain't shocked after an empty day.
Use medium heat, so that the water doesn't explode too big.
Ingredients:
1 chicken, cleaned, cut into 10 parts
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 star anise
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped, well mixed
2 shallots, obliquely sliced
2 knuckles ginger, sliced into matchsticks
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 sprigs cilantro
How to make:
1. Marinate chicken with lime juice.
2. Let stand for 15 minutes.
3. Mix sesame oil, fish sauce, oyster sauce, star anise, garlic, shallots, ginger, pepper, salt and cilantro.
4. Mix chicken with mixed spices.
5. Put chicken in a heat-resistant dish.
6. Steam chicken in a steamer for 40 minutes.
For 5 servings.
